Less Talk, More Photos
Business in the East
The trip started out with one LONG plane ride. And this is coming from someone who flys for a living. When we got to Tokyo, it was time for a drink. Scott caught me creeping on him. Haha.
Apparently "window" seats are a little different in Asia. I also didn't expect to get on a 777 for a 1 hour domestic flight. Moving a lot of people in Japan.
Made it Sapporo and settled into the hotel room. I had a pretty neat view for my Asia workstation. Then Scott and I found some Ramon for dinner.
Hey! We found a Todd! With the full crew assembled we set out to make the most of our layover day in Japan.
Off to Thailand! With a quick stop in Taiwan.
Thailand was short and sweet, off to Singapore.
We had one full day to explore Singapore, so I used the opportunity to visit the Gardens by the Bay.
We stayed in the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore during our stay there. It was one of the more unique hotels I've stayed in, so I decided to get a few shots of the hotel.
When dinner is a bunch of steamed dumplings, they must be documented.
Everything in Singapore seemed to be extravagant, including the shopping mall across the street from our hotel. It should be no surprise that we couldn't afford anything except for the food in the food court. Haha.
Spent a hot minute in Seoul, South Korea. I wish we had spent a little more time there and explored more of what the city had to offer, but beggars can't be choosey.
We found a Korean version of future Spencer.
Times up in South Korea, now back to Japan. I lucked out and got a room with quite the view when we were in Tokyo.
Last night and dinner in Asia. Dumplings, I will miss you.
Todd has the amazing ability to make friends wherever he goes.
I couldn't help myself, I had to take a lot of photos of the Tokyo skyline. Especially when all I would have to do is walk to the window.
Asia, it was fun. I'm sure I'll be seeing you again soon!
